Anne Lara is a registered nurse with over 40 years of healthcare experience in not only clinical settings, but also in the information technology industry.
She has successfully implemented programs in the areas of bone marrow transplant, pain management, oncology nursing education, radiation oncology, case management, patient education, and caregiver support; and obtained FDA 510k clearance for medical devices.
She has been responsible for the development and market launch of software to support clinicians in the areas of critical care, cardiology, oncology, medicine, and the operating room.
Her research has focused on the quality of life of cancer patients, competency management, and leadership development.
Anne holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Delaware and a doctoral degree in Innovation and Leadership from Wilmington University.
Anne latest adventure is being on the Core Faculty program as an RN-BSN at Capella University.
Jack Berberian is the co-founder and CEO of SecureNetMD, Jack received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and his JD from Whittier Law School in Los Angeles.
Jack and his family moved to Rehoboth Beach where he met his future business partner, Drew Laroche, and founded SecureNetMD, an information technology company that provides HIPAA-compliant technology, IT services and solutions and data analytics to healthcare groups and hospitals. From there, they added data analytics to their services. With physical locations in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Texas, they now operate in more than 25 states.
SecureNetMD started as an information technology company that supported solo-practice physicians. As technology evolved, they saw the opportunity to develop phone services that utilized an internet platform. They developed a HIPAA-compliant technology and expanded their offering to smaller medical groups and hospitals.
From there, they added data analytics to their services. With physical locations in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Texas, they now operate in more than 25 states. Their customers range from solo practitioners to publicly traded companies.
